About the Thrift Shop

The Assistance League Thrift Shop is the economic engine that provides approximately 80 percent of the budget that supports our philanthropic programs. Thrift Shop earnings have grown from $12,900 during 1985 – 1986 to $510,142 in 2015-2016.
The Thrift Shop is staffed entirely by our member volunteers who worked over 26,000 hours during 2015 – 2016 to ensure the smooth operation of the shop. The Thrift Shop carries items from boutique-quality clothing to everyday wear, from jewelry to electronics, from a child’s toy to a gently-used sofa, from decorative items to necessary kitchen utensils. Seasonal items and holiday decorations are available to provide shoppers with merchandise to brighten their home décor. The Thrift Shop is tastefully appointed and always an inviting place to shop.
The value of donated merchandise is tax-deductible and gratefully accepted at the Thrift Shop Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
