Summary of Programs
All efforts of Assistance League are directed towards its mission of providing direct social and educational services to Montgomery County’s economically disadvantaged children and adults. All services are carefully coordinated with other Montgomery County organizations. During the chapter’s last fiscal year, June 2010 to May 2011, the volunteers of Assistance League gave over 45,000 hours of their time to benefit more than 44,800 residents and more than $353,000 was spent to assist children, seniors, and others in need in Montgomery County. Since its inception in 1985, Assistance League has raised and spent over $3 million dollars to meet the needs of the community.
