Summary of Programs
All efforts of Assistance League are directed towards its mission of providing direct social and educational services to Montgomery County’s economically disadvantaged children and adults. All services are carefully coordinated with other Montgomery County organizations. During the chapter’s last fiscal year, June 2011 to May 2012, the volunteers of Assistance League gave over 45,500 hours of their time to benefit more than 48,250 residents and nearly $360,000 was spent to assist children, seniors, and others in need in Montgomery County. Since its inception in 1985, Assistance League has raised and spent over $3 million dollars to meet the needs of the community.
